Tim has been involved in the senior healthcare industry for the past 14 years. Entering the field as a sales counselor for Brookdale University Park, Tim also served with Somerby St. Vincent’s 119 and as Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Always Best Care (ABC). During his four-year tenure at ABC, Tim helped the franchise achieve one of the highest growth rates in the nation. Over the course of his career, Tim has helped more than 4,600 families find the best living arrangement and care for their loved ones.
In 2018, Tim created Senior Placement Services with the goal of developing a full-service placement company that could help families navigate each step of the difficult process of finding the right retirement community. Over the past five years, Tim and his staff have helped hundreds of families with their placement needs. He credits this success to his team’s unwavering commitment to finding the best possible outcome for each of their clients.
Tim attends Our Lady of Sorrows Church, where he has served as an usher, Eucharistic Minister and Parish Council President. He was also a member of the alumni board of the UAB College of Arts and Sciences. Tim is entering his fifth year as the Commissioner of Joy League Baseball, which is an independent baseball league for boys and girls ages 4-12. His hobbies include golf and coaching youth sports. Tim has two children, both of whom attend school in Homewood.

Chris brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Senior Placement Services team, having spent 25 years in both sales and administration in Birmingham’s senior housing industry. As a licensed Assisted Living Administrator (ALA), he is able to help families make the best care choice for their loved ones. His passion is to help seniors and their families in their search for senior housing placement.
Chris is a graduate of Samford University and is active in many alumni activities. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Assisted Living Association of Alabama and Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama, and he is currently a member of the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home Foundation board. Chris and his wife are active members of Hunter Street Baptist Church where he has served as a deacon, a new member class volunteer, and as an usher. The couple has one daughter who recently graduated Samford University and lives in the Hoover area.

Christine has worked in the senior care industry for more than seven years, serving as Community Liaison, Sales Counselor and Marketing/Sales Director for two of Birmingham’s most respected retirement communities. Prior to her work in senior care, Christine served in the non-profit field, providing life-coaching and employment assistance that enabled individuals with developmental disabilities to develop the skills necessary to live independent lives.
Christine has a ‘servant’s heart’ – this is evident in all her interactions with her clients and their families. Christine is genuinely committed to finding the best possible solution for each of her clients.
A graduate of Centre College in Kentucky, Christine has a degree in English and Psychology. She and her husband Bill have a blended family of four children. Melissa Cooper joined Senior Placement Services in October of 2021. Her work as a sales counselor for the largest Senior Living provider in the country, along with her background as a realtor, have provided her with the knowledge and experience necessary to help family members throughout the entire process of relocating.
Having a mother who lived for many years in Independent Living and Assisted Living, and a mother-in-law currently residing in Memory Care, Melissa understands the challenges of aging, and she has personal insight into the many benefits of living in a Senior Living Community and the different levels of care that may be needed over time.
Melissa and her husband, David, are active members in their church, having served as Sunday School teachers and small group leaders for many years. Together they have four children and four grandchildren. In her free time, Melissa enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Her greatest desire is to make a difference in the lives of others, and to help seniors and their families by offering the additional care and support needed to help ease the transition to Senior Living.
